OUR TALENT:
We welcome Don Roy Ensemble! Don Roy (fiddle) will be joined by Cindy Roy (piano & percussion) and Jay Young (bass). They've played at Carnegie Hall! Learn more on their website.
Dugan Murphy, Contra Dance Caller, is the acclaimed caller who brought you neon t-shirts, raucous pants, and hundreds of fun dance experiences across the U.S. He'll be teaching half the night, and excitedly introducing brand-spankin' new caller, Alison Stevens, who will teach the other half of the night.
Jonathan Freedner, a new caller from Maine, will be teaching a dance as well!
AND AFTER:
Join us from 10 p.m. 'til close for snacks and drinks just down the street at Local 188 (just West of Longfellow Square). They've created a new tapas menu just for us, and will offer PICD dancers a discount on drinks and grub. Sweet, ain't they? All ages welcome!
DIRECTIONS AND PARKING:
Directions may be found on the State Street Church website.
Parking is free after 6pm on street around the State Street/West End neighborhood. We recommend saving extra time, as it might take a bit to find a spot.
