This 90-minute class is designed and taught by Dela Murphy for social dance organizers, especially contra dance organizers, of any level of experience.

• Identifying your volunteer needs

• Low-cost and effective strategies for attracting new volunteers

• Managing volunteers in ways that encourage happiness, fulfillment, and organizational needs being met

• Placing volunteers in the best roles for them *and* you

• Retaining volunteers as #1 fans (that is, in the long term!)

Participants will leave with a better understanding of managing volunteer relationships, which will result in a dance community made possible by incredible people, incredibly dedicated to your cause.

After you register and pay, Dela will send you an email with a videoconference link. To get the most out of your opportunity to participate in the activities, use a device that has a microphone and camera so everyone can see your face and hear your voice. Participants can also call in on a telephone but will not be able to participate fully in the visual activities.

In order to provide a quality experience, Dela caps the class size at 10 participants per class.
