Outdoor roots dancing in different styles? Yes to HenryFest!

Portland Intown Contra Dance is collaborating with 317 Main Community Music Center to bring contra dance to this year's HenryFest!

What's HenryFest? An outdoor community music & dance festival. This family-friendly, outdoor, immersive experience features top-shelf American & international roots musics on the main stage, while Portland's vibrant dance communities lead steps on the dance floor. You'll get to:

• Contra dance to the music of Joy Compass and the calling of Shari Shakti and Hannah Chamberlain
• Salsa dance with lesson by PM Salsa and music by Primo Cubano
• Swing dance with Portland Swing Project to King Day & his New Imperials
• Dance in a West-African inspired style with Embody The Rhythm to New Moon Ensemble & special guest Seny Daffe (awe-inspiring Guinean drum masters)
