OUR TALENT:

Anadama is Amelia Mason on fiddle, Emily Troll on accordian, and Bethany Waickman on guitar. The band "finds its roots in the traditional music of New England, Ireland, and Quebec. Held aloft by the dark pulse of Bethany’s open-tuned guitar, the trio has no need for a bass or drums. They infuse old and new tunes alike with a distinctly modern kick, fiddle and accordion woven together in tight, driving harmony. It is dynamic, earthy music, all—from sweetly rolling jigs to breathless, freewheeling reels—played with vigor and honesty, and dance at its heart."

Check 'em out on Facebook or view this snazzy video:

Dela Taylor will call the first half of the evening and welcome Annabel Dryden for the other half. It will be Annabel's FIRST half evening! Yippee!

AND AFTER:

Join us from 10 p.m. 'til close for snacks and drinks just down the street at Local 188 (just West of Longfellow Square). They've created a new tapas menu just for us, and will offer PICD dancers a discount on drinks and grub. Sweet, ain't they? All ages welcome!

DIRECTIONS AND PARKING:

Directions may be found on the State Street Church website.

Parking is free after 6pm on street around the State Street/West End neighborhood. We recommend saving extra time, as it might take a bit to find a spot.
